About
Today Yerevan «Haybusak» University is a unique internationally oriented educational – scientific center that is widely known not only in Armenia but also in a number of foreign states.
Yerevan «Haybusak» University was one of the first ones that passed verification by the Quality of Education and received the state accreditation by all functioning specialties that was an evidence of high trust of the State and a guarantee of successful development of the University as «Haybusak» was entitled with the right to award state diplomas to its graduates.
Haybusak University of Yerevan was founded in 1990 by Academician L. Harutyunyan, thus becoming one of the first private universities of the newly-independent Armenia.
The 17-year-old university has about 3400 students, 3100 alumni, 300 teachers (among them 48 Professors, 64 PhD, 12 Academicians) and is developing rapidly. The university was granted state accreditation in 2001.

The graduates are entitled to work all over the world: in Armenia, CIS, Europe, USA, etc. The university has three faculties:

the Faculty of Medicine with specializations in General Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacology,

the Faculty of Economics with specializations in Economics and Enterprise Management, Accountancy and Audit, Computer Science,

the Humanities Faculty with specializations in Romance and Germanic Philology, Pedagogic and Elementary School Teaching. The university offers both full-time and part-time instruction, and various Master's and other post-graduate courses.

The university has published many books, textbooks, manuals, brochures and other educational and research materials designed and prepared by the university staff

Yerevan “Haybusak” University is an international multidisciplinary University, accredited both nationally and by EKKA. As Armenia had joined the Bologna process our University adopted the three-cycle education system (Bachelor, Master and Postgraduate) and began to uphold European standards, “Haybusak” annually welcomes about 4000 students from all over the world.
Throughout its activity, “Haybusak” University has gone a long way, improving, and increasing its capabilities every year, and hence the opportunities of our students. We assimilate and adapt the best of the principles of European education, while not forgetting the rich thousand-year-old traditions, passed on from the great minds of the past.
We are grateful to our brilliant teaching staff, which for already many years in a row has been opening the door to knowledge, professionalism, and mastery for our students from a multitude of countries, starting from Armenia, Russia, the CIS countries to Egypt, India, Iran and many more.
Our mission is to help young people acquire knowledge, skills and competencies that will help them become first-class specialists in their fields, and thus become demanded and successful people. The future of their countries will depend on them tomorrow. We want this future to be bright and beautiful in whatever sphere they work and whatever they do.
